Subscription Options for Institutions and Libraries

As the world's premiere chemistry education academic journal, the Journal of Chemical Education offers great value to institutions and libraries. In addition to the monthly print Journal, all JCE subscriptions include full access to JCE Online. Our IP number authentication subscription option provides your members and patrons access to JCE Online directly from their PCs without the need to administer names and passwords. Smaller institutions can opt for name and password authentication.

In order to protect your subscription investment, we offer our Annual CD-ROM, JCE CD, at the same rate as our print Journal. By purchasing JCE CD with your Journal subscription, you will receive a substantial discount compared to the regular JCE Software multiple-user price of $300.

Subscription rates for institutions are given in the tables below for U.S. and non-U.S. mailing addresses. Rates are specified according to the category of the institution.

IP Number Access

Our IP number authentication subscription option provides members of your institution and patrons of your library access to JCE Online directly from their PCs without the need for you to administer names and passwords.

The IP numbers for your institution are limited to a single geographic location or campus. Large institutions with several campuses or locations must purchase a subscription for each location.

In order to fulfill IP-number access subscriptions, you must include with your order the email address for the contact person at your institution that can supply the list of IP numbers for your institution.

Name and Password Access

Name and password access to JCE Online.is available only to small domestic institutions (B. S. is ultimate degree granted, associate degree granting, and secondary and elementary schools) If your institution qualifies and does not require the convenience of IP number access and is willing to administrate name and password authentication using its best effort to prevent unauthorized access, you may opt for access using a name and password.

Eliminate the hassle of administration and remembering of names and passwords for you and your patrons. Provide your patrons with direct access to JCE Online from their PCs.
